Focuses on accelerated account growth while cultivating existing customer base by leveraging local sales support specialist who handles quoting, initiating order fulfillment, and project assistance. Sales support is also provided by customer service representatives, field technical sales engineers, product marketing, and business intelligence team. Position places great emphasis on new customer sales growth.
Uses full understanding of OEM and end-user markets with sensor technology needs to effectively prospect key accounts.
Understands the ability to accelerate sales execution by leveraging accurate and comprehensive information from our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Understands the need for self-discipline to enter effective call reports, and more importantly, conduct call report analysis to drive higher close rates on sales.
Presents technical solutions to customer only after fully understanding customer’s business model with its challenges and needs.
Continuously learning evolution of customer/industry needs and potential ifm solutions technology to satisfy those needs.
Position is largely measured on critical success factors such as new customer account growth, identifying cross-selling opportunity, and continuous improvement contributions to greater sales team.


Proven relationship-building and problem-solving skills to provide customers with the value-added support that differentiates team efector to be the premier technology partner for sensors and controls.
3 to 10 years of related technical sales experience preferred.
Engineering or Business degree preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude. Industrial automation experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify and close key prospect accounts.
Strong thinker with good judgment and assertiveness to voice continuous improvement ideas.
Continuous learner of business and product technology including product part numbers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of our organization.
Attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Self-disciplined with a high sense of urgency to be a collaborative business partner.
Ability to work with various teams as well as independently.
